I eat here regularly and everything Ive eaten is top drawer. Catfish is as good as any in the area. Very tasty. Red rice and beans are very good. All their salads, shrimp, greek, veggie, are excellent. My son loves their po-boys. Love their hamburgers too. One downer is they charge extra for hush puppies and dont include them unless asked for. They are too dry and lack a lot of flavor, so I can live without them. If you like fried catfish but dont like the long wait at some of the other restaurants, try these guys. Theyre is as good as they come. They have high school girls at the drive through and counter. They are not the most motivated and seem bored.
Was looking for a quick, healthyish dinner I could pick up on the way home from the gym. Called in the grilled fish and 5 jumbo shrimp for dinner. Came with 2 sides ( I chose double green beans). Food was hot, fresh, and ready in 15 minutes. Fish had a lemon butter flavor that was very good. The shrimp were HUGE. Dinner entree came with lemons and grilled onions and peppers. Very good meal and can't beat the price!
The food was delicious! I ordered my meal with DoorDash. I was pleasantly surprised when the food got here very hot. The driver was very nice and prompt. I will order from Nederland Seafood House again!!
Traveled from Austin and googled this restaurant because I was craving catfish. Catfish and fries were so delicious. Huge portions for the low price. They also had great customer service and restaurant was very clean. I will definitely be back when I'm in town!
